Late Nigerian music star Mohbad’s widow Omowunmi Aloba, has raised an alarm that her life and that of her one-year-old son, Liam, are in danger.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Omowunmi claimed that she receives death threats almost daily.

She also said that she had been attacked by her late husband’s former boss, Naira Marley, and his cohorts

She continues that she’s also facing strong opposition from her Joseph Aloba father-in-law, whom she claimed is seeking to control the late singer’s properties.

Omowunmi said, “We no longer feel safe. I literally get death threats almost every day in my DMs. It has really gotten to a point where it’s either I speak up or I die in silence.

“I have been attacked by Naira Marley and his cohorts. My father-in-law wants to be in control of Mohbad’s properties, or he will go all out to destroy my life. My father-in-law was the one who officiated my marriage to my late husband. He was the happiest, and now he is calling our son a bastard. He said Liam has bow legs and that they don’t have such in their family. He said Liam looks older than him, and he is almost 60. He even went as far as claiming that my husband wanted to throw my baby into the Third Mainland Bridge.”

Remember, that Mohbad tragically passed away under controversial circumstances in September 2023 after exiting Naira Marley’s Marlian Music over the alleged failure of the record label to fulfill their contract agreement.

His sudden death led some people to point fingers at his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, who was captured in a viral video assaulting the late singer before his death.

The twosome were arraigned and remanded on October 6, 2023, over their alleged involvement in circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death but were later granted bail after pleading not guilty.

The Nigerian Nollywood Actress Biodun Okeowo in her recent post shared on instagram said Nollywood Marketers made her to leave the industry.

Actress Biodun, recently got married to her US-based partner, Adeniyi Olabiyi, in July 2024 and has been absent from the screen for years.

Moreover, fans who showed concern has been questioning her about her sudden disappearance, the actress attributed her absence to the sexual pressure she faced from marketers.

“Marketers were the reason I left the industry after blacklisting me for refusing to remove my panties.

“They told producers to stop featuring me and went as far as removing my photo from the poster of a film in which I played the lead role. How many of their wicked actions should I even talk about?

“They did so much damage to my career that I eventually got tired of acting and walked away myself.

“I developed so much hatred for a job I once had great passion for that I began to turn down roles.

Nigerian music artist Damilola Afolabi, aka L.A.X, recently disclosed how he begged his girlfriend to stay after she cheated on him some time ago.

Dialoguing with Chude Jideonwo, L.A.X recalled that his girlfriend returned home intoxicated, and he discovered through her phone that she had been unfaithful. when he confronted her, she claimed that  the person she cheated with was only a friend. He stated he was begging her not to end the relationship instead of scolding her for being unfaithful.

“I was dating this girl, she came in drunk and I held her to the bed. She even threw up. I checked her phone and I saw, ‘I enjoyed this night. I think we should do this again.

As I showed her the phone, she just looked at me and said, ‘He’s just my friend. We just spent the night.’ Trust me, it was me that was now begging. I said we can work it out and she said, okay, don’t worry,”-L.A.X

Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP’s leader and its 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Jigawa State, has criticised the current ruling party, All Progressives Congress, (APC) for deteriorating the economic and social conditions in both the state and the country, stating that citizens have endured enough suffering under its leadership.

In a stakeholders’ meeting in Hadejia, Jigawa State, He condemned several policies of the state government, opposing that they fail to address the needs of the common man. He fustigates the recently launched citizens’ engagement programme by the Jigawa State Government, claiming it does not provide an effective platform for ordinary citizens to voice their concerns.

Rigim said “A common man should be allowed to speak his mind, even if it is against the government’s interest,”

He bewails the increasing hardship faced by Nigerians, warning that the suffering has become unbearable.

Ringim urged both the state and federal governments to take urgent action to improve the lives of citizens, emphasising that many people have been reduced to beggars and are struggling to survive.

Significantly, He said“The government must prioritise education, healthcare, job creation, and agricultural development. Every policy and programme should be designed to uplift the common man, with a serious commitment to effective implementation. If these sectors are improved, poverty will decrease, and so will crime, including theft, armed robbery, and kidnapping,”  

Ringim reaffirmed the NNPP’s role as an opposition party, stating that it is their duty to hold the government accountable and demand policies that will alleviate the suffering of the people.

Zicsaloma, a popular Nigerian skit maker has revealed his reasons for undergoing rhinoplasty, a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose. Zicsaloma underwent the surgery in January 2025 to reshape his nose.

After the procedure in Turkey, he has been sharing videos of his post-operation journey. Netizen reacting from social media users for going under the knife, the content creator revealed in a YouTube video on Friday that he underwent the procedure to fulfil his childhood desire to reshape his nose.

He experienced lots of low self esteem and the condemnation he faced from childhood because of his flat nose are the core reasons for his decision.

Zicsaloma said “Some people undergo rhinoplasty because of breathing problems, while others do it because they don’t like the shape of their nose—like me. In my case, it is aesthetic.Right from childhood, I have always wanted to reconstruct my flat nose. I was constantly ridiculed. People said my nose was too ugly and too big. So, if you don’t have the money or the courage to correct your insecurities, that doesn’t mean you should judge another person.”
