Nigeria’s Flying Eagles international friendly against Egypt has been cancelled
Flying Eagles and Egypt friendlies were earlier scheduled to face each other in a double-header friendly in Cairo on February 25 and February 27.
The friendlies have now been called off after Nigeria and Egypt were drawn in the same group for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.The draw was conducted at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, in Cairo on Thursday.
The Amajita of South Africa and Morocco are also inclusive in the group.
Cote d’Ivoire will host the U-20 AFCON from Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, May 18.
